Head-to-head records can look interesting, especially when one team has repeatedly performed well against another. At the same time, players, managers and tactics can change significantly between meetings. How much attention do you give these previous results? Do you consider them useful background information or mostly ignore them when the current teams are very different?

Head-to-heads are something I glance at, but I stopped treating them as a major factor after getting burned by an old record that no longer reflected either team. A manager change or a few key transfers can completely alter the matchup. I normally use those results to spot patterns, then compare them with current form and lineups.
