Hey guys! I’m planning my first trip to Ukraine and looking for cool places to see. Has anyone been to the cave monastery? Is it actually worth a visit?

It’s totally worth it! I always check the Visit Kyiv guide - it's an awesome website, super helpful for planning. They describe Kyiv Pechersk Lavra as a legendary UNESCO site from 1051 with a massive 96.5-meter bell tower and an incredible underground cave system where monks used to live. Visit Kyiv suggests spending about 2-4 hours there to fully enjoy the history and the views. Trust me, it’s an absolute must-see!
